Who we are and what we love to do...

Overview

Crosspoint Family Consultants is a non-profit company with a vision to encourage individuals, married couples, parents, and families to reach their full potential and to understand principles that make life functional. Our goal is to help people prosper in life and to create a wave of blessing for the coming generations. We do this through one-on-one coaching, marriage coaching, online courses, workshops, e-books, seminars, and public speaking.  We have already helped many people in the areas of marriage, preparation for marriage, parenting, finances, career choices, and business relationships.  As a non-profit company, we do sell our courses, material, services, but our aim is not to make a profit but to help people.

Our Approach

Together with our ministry partners in our network, we provide Biblical Principles by way of personal consultation, seminars, retreats, our Youtube channel, and workshops.

History

Crosspoint Life Consultants was founded in January 2020 by Tobie and Zanel Verreynne.  With more than 23 years of ministry experience in youth ministry; pastorally leading two congregations, serving on denominational church leadership teams; serving full time under Family Foundations International for 7 years; helping students and working adults find their unique design by way of career assessments; presenting seminars, retreats, and workshops; Tobie and Zanel sensed God calling them to broaden their horizons. The idea was to incorporate all of what they have been doing, their knowledge, wisdom, personal designs, passion, and skills under one ministry umbrella.  On 15 February 2022, the name changed to Crosspoint Family Consultants.

What we stand for

The meaning of Covenant

We are passionate about helping people understand the meaning of covenant. Over the years we have learned the deep and significant meaning of covenant as practiced in ancient cultures. We know that God is a covenant God, but until we understand what covenant stands for, we will not be able to fully understand what God meant when he said to Abraham, "This is an everlasting covenant." Understanding the meaning of covenant language brings depth and meaning to many things in the Bible and our lives. Understanding covenant symbolism and concepts like blood covenant and threshold covenant, as practiced in ancient times (also Bible times), provides a different perspective on God, his plan with the world, and his most beautiful design of marriage. Taking the meaning of covenant into the realm of marriage brings to life the most intimate human relationship we can experience here on earth. Marriage fundamentally is a covenant relationship and commitment. This sets it lightyears apart from marriage when viewed as a contract. You can learn more about marriage's covenant meaning under our "services" tab.

Marriage

God designed marriage as a holy (set apart) relationship between a man and a woman. Marriage is the depiction of the relationship between Jesus and the church. Jesus the Bridegroom, and the church is known as the Bride of Christ. Satan would do anything to destroy what resembles this relationship. This is why so many marriages end in divorce today there is a battle against this perfect design of God of the union between a man and a woman. Our passion is to help people to see what God intended marriage to be, and to help people to engage with God's beautiful design fully.

Generational Blessing

The God of the Bible reveals himself is the God of blessing. From the very beginning, he blessed. At creation, he blessed the earth and made it fruitful. He blessed mankind in order to multiply and rule on the earth. He made his intent to bless clear to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He blessed his people Israel in various ways. He commanded Israel to bless their children and teach them his Word. God's intention was that families will be blessed. This fact cannot be denied when we look at many Scriptures pointing to blessing in the Bible. We believe that God still desires to bless families and does so when there is alignment with his design for the family. Our hearts beat to lead people back to the design of God for the family so that blessings can freely flow from generation to generation.

Genesis 12:3

“I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Psalm 115:14-15

“May the Lord cause you to flourish, both you and your children. May you be blessed by the Lord, Maker of heaven and earth.”

Acts 2:39 - “For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.”

Deuteronomy 6:4-9

“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”

Stewardship

We believe that God has called all people to be stewards. Stewardship calls for responsible living in all areas of life. God calls us to be stewards of our lives, health, finances, resources, land (the earth), time, talents, and gifts. Godly stewardship is one of the disciplines of the faith that we need to learn.
