IMPORTANT TO REALISE
Keep in mind that it takes time to turn a marriage around. There are no quick fixes. Marriages slide into danger, disconnect or disaster over time. It's a slow fade. It will take time to rescue, restore, and revive a marriage. Turning a marriage around can take up to 1 year. If that sounds long, consider that an uncontested divorce takes 6 months to finalize and can drag on indefinitely. The after-effects of divorce (especially for children) can last for years or even a lifetime.
